There are some restrictions that might prevent qooxdoo from working on the iPod Touch or iPhone:
“These are the JavaScript constrains mentioned:

• 10 MB JavaScript object allocation
• 5 second JavaScript execution
• Scripts may be paused (especially when Safari is not the active application)”
